answer text <p>The Department for International Trade is committed to ensuring HR policies and guidance are inclusive and regularly undertakes internal policy reviews to keep our policies up to date and compliant with statutory legislation and best practice.</p><p> </p><p>The department is satisfied that its HR policies are consistent with this commitment and there are currently no plans to replace the word ‘’mother’ with the phrase “parent who has given birth” to our HR policies. The department will continue to monitor any developments or changes in legislation.</p> more like this
