<p>Ministers and officials in the Department for International Trade are working closely
with counterparts across a wide range of markets in order to promote the UK as a great
place to do business and with which to trade. We have established a series of working
groups and high-level dialogues with key trade partners, to explore the best ways
of progressing our trade and investment relationships. However, as members of the
EU, the UK cannot negotiate and conclude new trade agreements.</p>
