answer text <p>The Kerry Town Ebola open access treatment unit will have a maximum capacity of 92 beds to treat patients with Ebola. As of 10 December, 52 beds are operational, including a 12-bed facility which treats Ebola patients from HMG, international healthcare workers and Sierra Leonean healthcare professionals working in UK-sponsored facilities. As of 10 December 2014, a total of 111 patients have been treated at the Kerry Town Ebola facility.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>As of 10 December 2014, 58 NHS staff have been deployed across Sierra Leone through the UK-Med register. Of these, 21 staff are currently based at the Kerry Town facility. Further volunteers may be deployed to staff this facility from early 2015. The current planned investment to construct, set up and run the Kerry Town Treatment Centre is £38 million, of which £16.2 million has been disbursed to date.</p><p> </p> more like this
