There are over 227,000 internally displaced Cameroonians and almost 100,000 refugees from Nigeria in the region. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/01/2019 answer text <p>The Department for International Development recently announced a £2.5m contribution to the UN appeal for the Anglophone crisis in Cameroon to support internally displaced persons, with £2 million disbursed immediately to UNICEF.
