Given national security concerns they feel it would be inappropriate to publicly supply a list of applications approved for use on mobile phones issued by the Cabinet Office. In 2016/17, no staff were off sick due to mental illness or stress and fewer than 10 individuals were absent in 2017/18 due to stress or mental health conditions and therefore the Department is not in a position to release this information as individuals may be identifiable.</p><p> </p><p>The Civil Service has set out five priorities for the health and wellbeing of its employees, including priorities in relation to physical and mental wellbeing. In addition, the Civil Service has also committed to being a leading employer on mental health support, in line with the recommendations set out in the recently published independent review Thriving At Work.</p><p> </p><p>Health and Wellbeing forms part of the Department for Exiting the European Union’s commitment to making the Department a great place to work. The Department is committed to reducing work related absence due to mental health illness and has a number of services and initiatives in place to support members of staff suffering from such conditions. To date 32 DExEU staff have been trained by Mental Health First Aid England as mental health champions and staff also have access to the Employee Assistance Programmes.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The Department has a dedicated mental health and wellbeing group who have been leading on a number of wellbeing activities across the Department to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of staff employed in the Department. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/05/2018 answer text <p>The Secretary of State meets regularly with Ministerial counterparts from other EU Member States and with individuals in the EU institutions to discuss a wide range of policy issues linked to our exit from the EU.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>During the first phase of negotiations the UK pushed hard to secure the right of onward movement for UK nationals with permanent status in another EU Member State. However, the European Commission felt that this was an issue that could not be resolved through the first phase of negotiations. This remains an important matter for the Government.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>We have however agreed the continued recognition of qualifications, where recognition decisions were received or where recognition procedures were ongoing, before the end of the implementation period. This will cover the European Professional Card, qualifications recognised under the MRPQ directive for the purpose of establishment, lawyers practising under host State title, approved statutory auditors, and persons engaged in the trade and distribution of toxic products.</p><p> </p><p>The reciprocal agreement we have reached on citizens’ rights will mean that UK and EU citizens will be able to continue to move through EU countries as they do now, until the end of the implementation period. Based on the data provided by GRS the average length of time taken to fill vacancies since the Department was set up in 2016 is as follows -</p><p> </p><p>a. Administrative Assistant/Administrative Officer - local campaigns - non GRS</p><p>b. Executive Officer - local campaigns - non GRS</p><p>c. Senior Executive Officer/Higher Executive Officer - 49 days</p><p>d. Grades 6 &amp; 7 - 47 days</p><p>e. As the Prime Minister said in both her Munich and Mansion House speeches, achieving a deal on data protection is one of the foundations that must underpin the UK-EU relationship.</p><p> </p><p>We want to secure an agreement with the EU that provides the stability and confidence for EU and UK business and individuals to achieve our aims in maintaining and developing the UK’s strong trading and economic links with the EU. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/05/2018 answer text <p>The UK and the EU acknowledge that the Belfast (‘Good Friday’) Agreement recognises the birth right of all the people of Northern Ireland to choose to be Irish or British or both and be accepted as such. They also recognise that the people of Northern Ireland who are Irish citizens will continue to enjoy rights as EU citizens, including where they reside in Northern Ireland.
