In March we confirmed that we had reached agreement on the implementation period, on citizens’ rights and on the financial settlement. We recently published a joint statement setting out the further progress we have made in locking down the text on many separation issues and we have now reached agreement on the vast majority of the Withdrawal Agreement.</p><p> </p><p>Given this, agreeing a deal is increasingly likely. Nevertheless, as a responsible government we are preparing for all possible outcomes. Departments’ plans are well developed and are designed to respond to all scenarios, including the unlikely possibility that we leave the EU without a deal in place. However, a responsible government should prepare for all potential outcomes, including the unlikely scenario in which no mutually satisfactory agreement can be reached.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is undertaking a wide range of analysis and preparatory work, across a range of scenarios, looking at the implications of UK withdrawal from the EU. As such it was turned ‘green’ and is now considered closed. Over three quarters of the Withdrawal Agreement text overall is now coloured green.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>We have been clear that we will be reaching an agreement on our future partnership at the same time as the Withdrawal Agreement. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/04/2018 answer text <p>The Government is committed to delivering a smooth and orderly exit from the EU and the Queen’s Speech 2017 set out the legislative programme to support this.</p><p> </p><p>Six exit-related bills have been introduced in Parliament in this session: the EU (Withdrawal) Bill, the Nuclear Safeguards Bill, the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Bill, the Trade Bill, the Taxation (Cross-border Trade) Bill and the Haulage Permits and Trailer Registration Bill.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The Government has always said we will bring forward further legislation as required to deliver our exit. This includes the Withdrawal Agreement &amp; Implementation Bill that would give the Withdrawal Agreement domestic legal effect.
