We are now focused on making sure that all our policies are delivering for the UK and to grow our world-leading food and farming industry. I am looking forward to working with industry and the public to develop new proposals that support our agricultural and horticultural industries as we leave the EU.</p><p> </p><p>With regard to labour from European nationals, until we leave the EU, there are no changes to labour movements. Defra is very aware that migrant workers from other EU countries will be one of the complex issues that will have to be resolved as part of our exit negotiation and future relationship with the EU. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/11/2016 answer text <p>By 16 November, in addition to claims which the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) cannot pay due to legal reasons such as probate, all but 6 claimants had received a payment, and of those 6 none are in Cumbria or the Copeland constituency. This figure is an increase of 1 compared to the previously reported figure because the agency is completing routine final checks on nil value claims.</p><p> </p><p>The RPA said it would investigate BPS 2015 claims where there is a discrepancy between the claim information and that held on the Rural Payments Service through a planned reconciliation process. This started after the BPS 2016 application window and looked at an initial stock of 13,607 claims for England. This started after the BPS 2016 application window closed and looked at an initial stock of 13,600 claims for England.</p><p> </p><p>Of these claims, 14 related to farmers in St Helens and 41 in Merseyside. The RPA does not hold this information for the UK. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/11/2016 answer text <p>The Veterinary Medicines Regulations are in place to ensure the quality, safety and efficacy of veterinary medicines.</p><p> </p><p>No distinction is made between homeopathic medicines, herbs, vitamins and mineral supplements if they are marketed as having a beneficial effect on health, make medicinal claims or if they contain certain ingredients that exert a pharmacological effect on the target animal. They require a marketing authorisation to be sold in the UK.</p><p> </p><p>Defra has no immediate plans to review the regulation of homeopathic medicines, herbs, vitamins and mineral supplements once we have left the EU. The Government’s intention is to repatriate the laws and restrictions into British law via a proposed repeal Bill.
