To help eliminate the gender pay gap within a generation, we are requiring larger employers to publish information about their gender pay gaps and bonuses. We are also working with business to support and promote Lord Davies’ target of 33% of women on boards in the FTSE 350 by 2020.</p><br /><p>The government is also introducing new regulations that will require larger employers to publish their gender pay gap information. The Equality Act 2010 provides a strong legislative framework to prevent and tackle discrimination, harassment, and victimisation in the workplace. The government also funds the Equality and Advisory Support Service, which provides an accessible and inclusive source of advice for people who may have been discriminated against.</p><br /><p>We have committed to closing the gender pay gap in a generation. We will soon require larger employers to publish the difference between the average pay and bonuses of their male and female employees. We are also tackling the root causes of gender pay gap with the introduction of Shared Parental Leave, the extension of flexible working and the offer of 30 hours free childcare.</p><br /><p>The government is proud of its record to support LGB&amp;T people and the UK continues to be recognised as a leader in this area. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/11/2015 answer text <p>There are a number of resources available to support computing education and schools are best placed to decide what will be most effective for their pupils.</p><p>The national curriculum in computing emphasises the academic discipline of computer science. Through studying topics such as computational logic, algorithms and data representation, pupils are obtaining insight into how the digital technologies that they use every day actually work<del class="ministerial"> and understanding how these technology products result from human ingenuity and rational design processes</del>. We want young people to have the opportunity to<del class="ministerial"> actively </del>create new technologies, rather than being passive consumers of them.</p><p>The Government has spent more than £4.5 million over the past three years to support schools in delivering high quality computing teaching.
