We have agreed to protect the rights of EU citizens in the UK and UK nationals
in the EU under the Withdrawal Agreement. During the implementation period, EU citizens
coming to the UK and UK nationals going to the EU will be able to live, work and study
broadly as they do now. Therefore, employers taking on apprentices who are covered
by the Withdrawal Agreement, will continue to be able to access funding beyond March
2019. Once an eligible individual has started an apprenticeship, we will always fund
them through to completion as long as they retain their eligibility to work in UK.
