The Equality Act 2010 – which applies to England and Wales - requires that ‘reasonable adjustments’ are made by service providers, which include the owners of sports stadia, to make premises accessible for disabled people. It is for individual clubs to determine what adjustments are ‘reasonable’ taking into account their own circumstances. Structural changes are not always necessary to make sports grounds accessible to spectators with disabilities. Clubs and stadia owners can also change policies and procedures to make their grounds more accessible for disabled spectators.</p> more like this

answer text <p>We have taken a number of steps to reduce the number of unsolicited direct marketing calls and allow members of the public to identify nuisance callers. They include:</p><p> </p><ul><li>Amending the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations to require all direct marketing callers to provide Caller Line Identification, allowing people to identify direct marketing calls and choose whether to accept them or not.</li><li>Funding the National Trading Standards Scams Team to provide call blocking devices to vulnerable people in all parts of the UK; and</li><li>Encouraging high-tech firms to develop innovative and affordable solutions to tackle nuisance calls.</li></ul> more like this

answer text <p>Life Charity submitted a project proposal to support vulnerable women in west London, requesting £250,000. Life Charity’s bid described a project that would help vulnerable, homeless or at risk women (for example, those escaping abuse or trafficking) who are pregnant and have nowhere to turn.</p><p>We will shortly agree the specifics of each of the 70 projects that successfully applied to the Tampon Tax Fund this year, to ensure that taxpayers' money is put to the best use.
