question text	To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, what progress has been made by his Department on implementing the outcome of the research it carried out in 2016 on evaluating the adequacy of the guidance in the relevant building regulations for providing toilets equipped with changing facilities for people with disabilities; and whether a review of that guidance was an outcome of that research.

The research has been completed and we are considering its publication. This relates to access to, and use of, non domestic buildings. The research has been completed and we are considering it. We will be taking the research into account in considering whether any changes need to be made to the guidance on the provision of toilet facilities for people with disabilities.</p><p><br>Building regulations are not retrospective and only apply when building work takes place.
