answer text <p>Sustainable Warmth projects from 2021 are currently in delivery and Local Authorities (LAs) have until 31 March 2023 to complete these projects. The Government monitors delivery through monthly reporting scheme delivery data. Once the scheme concludes, the Government will carry out an evaluation of its impact.</p><p>The Sustainable Warmth competition was given a finite period for delivery and will not be repeated in the same form for 2023. Several policies are available enabling LAs to access funding for energy efficiency beyond March 2023 including £1.5bn through the Home Upgrade Grant and Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund. The Energy Company Obligation scheme also allows LAs to refer households to energy suppliers for energy efficiency upgrades.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government is investing over £6.6 billion over this Parliament to help decarbonise homes and buildings, including insulation, and an additional £6 billion will be made available from 2025-2028.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has committed to a ]-year, £4 billion extension and expansion of ECO with ECO4 to accelerate its efforts to improve homes to meet fuel poverty targets. The Government has also announced a further £1 billion extension of the scheme through ECO+ to start in Spring 2023.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has also launched a digitally led service ‘find ways to save energy in your home’. answer text <p>The Government has allocated £3.2 billion in this Parliament to improve home energy efficiency. The Government's approach to supporting fuel poor households was set out in the fuel poverty strategy, Sustainable Warmth, in February 2021.</p><p> </p><p>The cost-of-living crisis gives even greater urgency for action to make homes more energy efficient and reduce energy bills. Through the Governments ‘Help to Heat’ capital schemes, domestic consumers could potentially save between £300and £700 per annum, based on the current price cap.</p><p> </p><p>Work is ongoing to meet the commitment in the British Energy Security Strategy to review the planning barriers households face when installing energy efficiency measures in conservation areas and listed buildings.</p> more like this
