answer text <p>BEIS estimates that the total Government contribution for measures installed through the Green Homes Grant Vouchers (GHGV) scheme was £233 million, and through the Green Homes Grant Local Authority Delivery (LAD) and Homes Upgrade Grant (HUG) schemes was £269 million.</p><p> </p><p>Through the GHGV scheme, around 43,200 households had at least one measure installed, and around 37,000 through LAD and HUG.</p><p> </p><p>Through the GHGV scheme, there were around 113,700 household applications with 43,200 households being successful. answer text <p>The Green Homes Grant Voucher (GHGV) scheme launched in September 2020, to help householders and landlords with the cost of installing energy efficient improvements in their home.</p><p> </p><p>There were 113,700 household applications associated to 169,400 vouchers. For all measures installed, of which there were 49,400, the average Government contribution was £4,710. The average Government contribution was £6,200 for low income households where higher funding was available.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Based on the report by the National Audit Office and its recommendations, the Public Accounts Committee took evidence from HM Treasury and the Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy and published its report on the Green Homes Grant Voucher Scheme on 1 December 2021. The Government response to the Committee’s report was published on 24 February with the Government agreeing with all of the Committee’s recommendations.</p> more like this

The Department is charged with driving improvements in energy efficiency to bring down bills for households, businesses, and the public sector, to reduce energy demand from buildings and industry by 15% by 2030. The latest Green Homes Grant voucher release official statistics, published on gov.uk in February 2022, show at the end of 7 February 2022 the total number of household applications received was 113,736, the total number of approved household applications was 61,650, and the number of household applications with at least one measure installed was 43,303. There will be a final statistical release towards the end of 2022 when all exceptional circumstance vouchers are redeemed.</p> more like this

answer text <p>In order to ensure the Government continues to deliver its net zero ambitions and support a thriving building retrofit industry, the Government will be expanding its funding commitment for both the Homes Upgrade Grant scheme and the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund with up to £950 million and £800 million in additional funding respectively over 2022/23 to 2024/25. This takes total funding to over £6.4billion across the lifetime of this Parliament. The Government has also introduced a new Boiler Upgrade Scheme worth £450 million, which will provide capital grants towards the cost of a heat pump.</p> more like this
