answer text <p>The Department has not made a formal assessment of the progress that that Local Authorities have made in supporting the development and implementation of hydrogen conversion technology. However, in the course of work to understand how the UK can move to low carbon heating and the potential role of hydrogen in the wider energy system, my officials and I have met with a range of national, regional and local stakeholders.</p><p>Our engagement has taken a number of forms - bilateral engagement, roundtables, conferences and workshops - and has included engagement with, among others: Scottish Government, Welsh Government, the Tees Valley Combined Authority, Liverpool City Region, Swindon Council, Swindon and Wiltshire LEP, Cheshire and Warrington LEP, and Greater London Authority.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Under the Pyrotechnic Articles (Safety) Regulations 2015 there is a ban on the supply of categories F2 and F3 fireworks to people under the age of 18.</p><p>All premises supplying these fireworks are required by the Fireworks Regulations 2004 to display a notice highlighting that it is illegal to sell fireworks to people who are underage and for underage people to possess them in public. There is also a ban on the possession of these fireworks in public places by people under 18.</p><p>Local Authority Trading Standards have powers to enforce the law and work with businesses to help them comply with the law through practical advice and toolkits. The maximum penalty for supplying category F2 or category F3 fireworks to a person under 18 is a fine or three months imprisonment.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government encourages users of fireworks to follow safety guidance, including keeping pets safe. We also advise users to be considerate of neighbours by giving plenty of notice.</p><p>The Office for Product Safety and Standards’ recent firework safety campaign, delivered with partners including the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents reached over a million consumers.</p><p>Further guidance on how to avoid or reduce stress to animals from fireworks has been published by animal charities, including Blue Cross, and can be accessed from gov.uk.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>The most recent official data on length of family-related leave taken by parents is from the Maternity and Paternity Rights Survey in 2009, which collected data from parents of children born in 2008 across Great Britain.</p><p> </p><p>This shows that in 2008, 73% of fathers who took some time off used paternity leave. Of fathers who took paternity leave, 50% took two weeks of leave, 16 per cent took more than two weeks and 34 per cent took less than two weeks.</p><p> </p><p>We are currently commissioning a new survey which will provide updated information on family related leave and pay entitlements including Paternity Leave.</p> more like this
