This includes the Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS), which provides support for heat network operators and requires them to pass through support to heat network customers. The Government has taken a consistent approach to identifying the most energy and trade intensive sectors, with all sectors that meet agreed thresholds for energy and trade intensity eligible for Energy and Trade Intensive Industries support. The Government has not restricted the amount of low-income households that can be supported through the scheme.
