answer text <p>The government published a revised set of government consultation principles in January 2016. These principles give clear guidance to government departments on conducting consultations. The consultation principles state that consultations should last for a proportionate amount of time, and that officials should judge the length of the consultation on the basis of legal advice and taking into account the nature and impact of the proposal. answer text <p>As was the case under previous administrations details of internal discussions are not normally disclosed.</p><p>The UK Statistics Authority’s strategy, <em>Better</em> <em>Statistics Better Decisions</em>, recognises the need for statistics to keep pace with a fast-changing world, including in the context of an increased emphasis on the devolution of decision-making powers to the nations, regions and cities of the UK.</p><p>A list of regional statistics which the UK is required to provide under European Regulations, including the level of breakdown, is available online at <a href="http://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/documents/140934/4381644/Regional_statistics_overview.xls" target="_blank">http://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/documents/140934/4381644/Regional_statistics_overview.xls</a>.</p><p>While the Regulations require that any data used to produce these statistics be of sufficient quality, the regulations do not specify how data is obtained; this is a matter left to Member States to decide. Beyond those statistics included on this list, official statistics are broken down at different geographies, depending on needs and available data.</p>

answer text <p>The Government Property Unit have developed guidelines and a standardised commercial agreement for Departments to make it easier for mobile telephone operatorsto erect masts on Government buildings. Government Property Unit also provided a London Rate Card for use by Departments and Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) that sets out indicative rents for a range of locations. answer text <p>Cabinet Office and other government departments currently fund the Digital Inclusion team which works across government and with the private, public and voluntary sectors to ensure that everyone in the UK has the basic digital skills needed to benefit from being online.</p><p>The Digital Inclusion Strategy launched in 2014 outlined that by 2016 we will have reduced the number of people who are offline by25% and by 2020 everyone who can be online should be online.</p><p>To date 85 organisations have signed up to the Digital Inclusion Charter and collaborate with government to deliver the Digital Inclusion Strategy. The Digital Inclusion team has worked with these stakeholders to develop products such as the cross-sector Digital Inclusion Outcomes Framework and initiatives like Digital Friends which promotes informal sharing of basic digital skills.</p> more like this
