As agreed in this meeting, officials wrote to trade unions inviting further discussions on the process of publishing the 2019 Pay Remit Guidance on 17th July. The Department for Exiting the European Union is undertaking detailed work and is primarily responsible for overseeing negotiations to leave the EU and establishing the future relationship between the UK and EU.</p><p>Cabinet Office staff continue to work closely with officials in the Department for Exiting the as European Union.</p><p>Members of staff across Cabinet Office also provide advice and analysis on EU Exit issues as required. Areas that are devolved in one part of the UK may not be devolved in another. This reflects the history and development of the different devolution settlements across the UK.
