answer text <p>The Minister for the Cabinet Office met with the General Secretaries of the FDA, Prospect and PCS trade unions on 27<sup>th</sup> June to discuss the civil service delegated pay guidance 2018, which was published on 25<sup>th</sup> June. As agreed in this meeting, officials wrote to trade unions inviting further discussions on the process of publishing the 2019 Pay Remit Guidance on 17th July. We are awaiting a response to this letter.</p> more like this

The Department for Exiting the European Union is undertaking detailed work and is primarily responsible for overseeing negotiations to leave the EU and establishing the future relationship between the UK and EU.</p><p>Cabinet Office staff continue to work closely with officials in the Department for Exiting the as European Union.</p><p>Members of staff across Cabinet Office also provide advice and analysis on EU Exit issues as required. But, given the interactions between EU Exit work and the departments other priorities, it would not be possible to give an accurate figure of cost.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The devolution settlements for Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales are each unique. Areas that are devolved in one part of the UK may not be devolved in another. This reflects the history and development of the different devolution settlements across the UK. Powers are devolved to the Northern Ireland Assembly but not to the Scottish Parliament in the following areas:</p><p> </p><p>- Energy production and supply</p><p>- Employment law</p><p>- All social security (some elements of social security are devolved in Scotland)</p><p>- Child support</p><p>- Pensions</p><p>- Northern Ireland Civil Service</p><p>- Equal opportunities (equal opportunities in relation to public bodies is devolved in Scotland)</p><p>- Time (for example timescales, time zones and the subject-matter of the Summer Time Act 1972)</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>There are also powers which are devolved to the Scottish Parliament and not to the Northern Ireland Assembly, including stamp duty, Landfill tax, management of Crown Estate assets and some income tax.</p>
