answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/03/2023 answer text <p>There has been an ongoing debate among interested parties, including veterans and campaigners, about whether the current model for awarding medals to members of the Armed Forces fits the changing face of operations. This issue was recognised by Sir John Holmes in the Military Medals Review published in July 2012.
