answer text <p>We laid regulations before Parliament on 11 November which will introduce a requirement that all homes delivered through permitted development rights meet, at a minimum, the nationally described space standards. This requirement will come into effect on 6 April 2021, and will apply to applications for prior approval submitted on or after that date.</p> more like this

The Government supports the student accommodation Codes of Practice run by Universities UK/Guild HE and Accreditation Network UK/Unipol. There are currently no plans to review the mechanism by which the Codes are administered. The Codes of Practice set the standards for the safety of halls of residence and purpose built student accommodation, the management of the property and the relationship between managers and student tenants. answer text <p>Although places of worship are closed for communal prayer, they are permitted to open for individual prayer, and to record or livestream services so that worshippers can participate at home. In addition, funerals are also permitted and can be attended by a maximum of thirty people.</p><p>The regulations now in force will expire on 2 December, at which point we hope to be able to be able to ease restrictions.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) designed the EWS1 process in conjunction with mortgage lenders. Its aim is to assist with valuations of high-rise residential buildings where remediation to ensure building safety might be required. The EWS1 process is not Government policy or a regulatory requirement. The Government is aware that the EWS1 process is being used on lower rise buildings, does not support such blanket use, and is encouraging industry to adopt a more proportionate approach.</p> more like this
