answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/11/2019 answer text <p>We set out our continued commitment to improving employment rates for disabled people and people with long-term health conditions in Improving Lives: The Future of Work, Health and Disability. The goal is to see an increase in the number of disabled people in work from 3.5 million in Q1 2017 to 4.5 million in Q1 2027. In the first two years of the goal (Q1 2017 to Q1 2019), the number of disabled people in employment increased by 404,000. We welcome the continuing positive trends, and remain committed to unlocking the potential of all disabled people searching for work. Where there is a dispute about whether a piece of equipment should be procured, Access to Work has no legal power to intervene in the dispute. question text	To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, if her Department will undertake a review of section 4.05 of the Access to Work Holistic Assessments Provider Guidance, published on 7 August 2019 which states that a report may be deemed not to meet the specified standard (and therefore rejected) if it is evident that the Assessor has been influenced by customer preference and has not considered the minimum requirements.
