<p>The state of Qatar plays no role in the governance of British horseracing. International sponsorship from Qatar and other plays a valuable role in the economic strength of horseracing in this country. We welcome Qatari sponsorship of the Goodwood Festival and other aspects of our sporting and cultural life.</p>
