<p>It remains our intention to undertake a review of the regulations, as committed to during the passage of the Children and Social Work Bill, as soon as resources permit. In the meantime, we are clear that allowing reasonable contact between looked-after children and their siblings is absolutely right where this is in the best interests of the children involved and the Children Act (1989) already provides for this.</p>
