<p>Illustrative analysis set out in the ‘<em>The UK’s future skills-based immigration
system</em>’ estimates applying a RQF3+ skills threshold and £30,000 salary threshold
(though there will be discussions with businesses and employers on the appropriate
threshold) could reduce annual inflows of EEA long-term workers by around 80 per cent.</p><p>This
analysis does not consider how firms and workers could potentially change behaviour
in response to changes, or impacts from proposals other than applying a RQF3+ skills
threshold and £30,000 salary threshold.</p>
