Therefore, whilst there is no robust estimate of the total cost of cyber crime to the UK economy it is likely to be billions.</p><p>The Economic and Social Costs of Crime report (Home Office, 2018) estimated a cost of £1.1bn from computer misuse incidents against individuals in the financial year 2015/16. Intensive support is in place to improve A&amp;E performance and lessen the impact of handover delays on East Midlands Ambulance Service. Performance improvement plans are in place at 11 hospital sites, with progress being closely monitored by NHS Improvement. This includes notification to the relevant English or Welsh Coroner.</p><p>Repatriation of a deceased member of the UK Armed Forces from any other country in the world back to the UK is managed by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre (JCCC) through the MOD's Repatriation contractor. Should a customer believe that CIGA staff have not followed this process they can raise a concern directly with the Chief Executive Officer or alternatively with CIGA’s Consumer Focus Non-Executive Director.</p><p> </p><p>If a Guarantee has been issued, but CIGA have not responded in a manner that is satisfactory to the consumer, the guarantee allows for any dispute between the householder and CIGA to be referred to arbitration. The Independent Arbitration service for customers is provided by the independent Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR).
