answer text <p>The UK is seeking a Comprehensive Air Transport Agreement with the EU which maintains liberal aviation access between the UK and EU, as well as continued participation within the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). We are confident of securing this.</p><p> </p><p>We do not want or expect a no deal scenario but we have a duty to responsibly prepare for it. The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is therefore implementing plans to take over the responsibilities of EASA if a deal is not reached with the EU. This includes ensuring that they have the correct resources and level of staffing in place.</p><p> </p><p>In line with the user charges principle, the majority of the CAA’s costs are, and will continue to be, funded by industry.</p> more like this

answer text <p>We are aware of the report by Imperial College London entitled ‘<em>Palm oil supply chain complexities impedes implementation of corporate no-deforestation commitments.</em>’</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Although we have no plans to formally assess the report, the Government’s 25 Year Environment Plan makes clear the UK’s commitment to supporting the implementation of deforestation-free supply chains for key commodities, including palm oil, working with a broad range of stakeholders.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>We are a co-signatory to the Amsterdam Declarations, which are political agreements that aim to support the implementation of private sector commitments on deforestation and sustainable palm oil. We are also a member of Tropical Forest Alliance 2020; a public-private co-operation working to help organisations achieve their deforestation-free commitment, eliminate illegality from supply chains and improve the quality and availability of deforestation and supply chain data.</p><p> </p>

answer text <p>The Department for Exiting the European Union is carrying out detailed work with departments to prepare for leaving the EU and coordinating planning. Members of staff across the Department for Work and Pensions provide advice and analysis on EU Exit issues as required.</p><p> </p><p>Given the interactions between EU exit work and the Department’s other priorities, it is not possible to provide the information requested.
