answer text <p>All cases will be treated on a case by case basis based on any evidence the applicant can provide and assessed on the balance of probability.</p><p>The Home Office will accept all sorts of documentation, including National Insurance numbers, to help build a picture of the applicant’s life in the UK.</p><p>Where applicants cannot provide evidence of their residence in the UK, the Home Office will work with them and other government departments to build a picture of their life in the UK to ensure they can confirm the applicant’s status.</p> more like this

answer text <p>We have identified influential faith leaders in key cities throughout the UK and Caribbean community groups who will cascade our messages to the Windrush generation. We will identify 10-15 outreach community ambassadors who will carry out this activity This will include churches, community events and local businesses, in around 400 African Caribbean touch points in five key cities including: London, Birmingham, Manchester, Nottingham and Bristol.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Providing the information requested would require a manual check of individual records which could only be done at disproportionate cost.</p><p>Individuals should contact the Home Office, by telephone on 0800 678 1925 or by emailing <a href="mailto:commonwealthtaskforce@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk" target="_blank">commonwealthtaskforce@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk</a>. answer text <p>To qualify for home fee status in England, a person must have settled status or a recognised connection to the UK. This includes people who have long residence in this country, who are covered by EU law or who have been granted international protection by the Home Office. They must ordinarily have been resident in the UK before the start of their course. Higher education providers have the discretion to be flexible in dealing with individual cases.</p><p> </p><p>Data on students granted home fee status at UK Higher Education Institutions is recorded by the Higher Education Statistics Agency, however the immigration status of the students’ parents is not available.</p> more like this
