Where a claimant still has difficulty, they will be granted further time where it is considered reasonable to do so.</p><p> </p><p>Recent research carried out by Ipsos MORI indicated that 85% of claimants were able to complete all sections of the PIP2 questionnaire and only 4% were unable to do so. In Personal Independence Payment around 81,000 claims are processed each month compared with 80,000 per month this time last year. As at July 2017 the average claimant was waiting 8 weeks for an assessment for both new and reassessment claims.
