answer text <p>Our Consulate General in Jerusalem frequently raises this issue with the Palestinian Water Authority, a body of the Palestinian Authority. We have serious concerns about the quality of water in Gaza, and note that the World Health Organisation has assessed that 90-95% of water in Gaza is undrinkable. UK technical assistance has aided the feasibility study of a proposed Gaza desalinisation plant.</p> more like this

answer text <p>We have a strong and growing bilateral relationship with the Philippines, which covers a range of issues including peace and security, counter terrorism, counter extremism, and human rights. We remain actively involved in efforts to promote stability, particularly in the southern Philippines. During my visit to Manila last December, I met senior members of the Philippine Administration and discussed how we can strengthen our cooperation. answer text <p>The Foreign and Commonwealth Office issued a statement at the time, expressing concern at the revocation of Sheikh Isa Qassim’s nationality. We have also raised this at Ministerial level. Sheikh Isa is currently the subject of a separate, ongoing court case.
