answer text <p> </p><p>Road investment is central to our long term economic plan. We are spending more than £24 billion on strategic roads between 2010 and 2021. A further £7.4 billion will be spent on local roads in the next Parliament, together with £1.5bn funding from the Local Growth Fund announced on Monday.
